Every year, it is observed that many students face difficulty in solving Olympiad challenges due to weak fundamentals and unclear basic concepts. To address this gap, ROBO-G is introducing a Foundation Program for Olympiads, designed to build strong core skills and boost students’ problem-solving confidence.
This program helps students (aged 9–15 years) prepare for prestigious competitions such as World Robot Olympiad (Robomission Category) and Indian Robotics Olympiad (Robo Adventures Category). Through structured training and hands-on learning, students will gain the confidence to tackle real Olympiad challenges effectively.

1. Core Programming Concepts
Students learn the fundamentals of robot programming by building a basic robot and controlling its movements. They explore accurate turning, forward and backward motion using the Gyro sensor, black line following, and intersections. They also learn to create My Blocks for writing clean, efficient, and reusable programs.
2. Building Strategy
Using the Indian Robotics Olympiad (IRO) 2024 challenge mat as a reference, students learn how to analyze a challenge before building. They plan the robot’s hardware, motor placement, and chassis design while focusing on stability, balance, and competition-ready construction.
3. Solving the Main Challenges
Students apply their programming and building skills to solve actual IRO 2024 challenges. Through repeated testing and troubleshooting, they learn how to fine-tune both the robot and the code to improve accuracy and performance.
4. Solve Hidden Bugs
To simulate real competition conditions, students identify and fix hidden bugs intentionally introduced by the trainer. This strengthens their debugging skills, logical thinking, and ability to handle unexpected problems during competitions.
5. Digital Robot Design
Students design their final competition robot using LEGO Studio, a digital brick-building software. This helps them understand digital modeling, documentation, and how professional teams plan robots before physical construction.
