The World Robot Olympiad is a global robotics competition for young people. The World Robot Olympiad competition uses Lego Mindstorms manufactured by LEGO Education. First held in 2004 in Singapore, it now attracts more than 26,000 teams from more than 65 countries.
Friendly competition is at the heart of Challenge, as teams of students ages 9-16 engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering - building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game.
In Explore, teams of students ages 6-10 focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0.
This playful introductory STEM program ignites young students' (4-6 years old) natural curiosity and builds their habits of learning with hands-on activities in the classroom and at home using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks.
ROBO-G provides training for international Robotics Competitions i.e., World Robot Olympiad (WRO), FIRST LEGO League Challenge, Explore and Discover. From last 5 years our teams are participating in these competitions and standing in top 5 positions at Bangalore Regional Championship and progressing to National round Championship every year. In these competitions children age group 6-15 years can participate.
We start the preparation for WRO in the month of May and for FLL in the month of October.
